A few weeks back, I was asked by a friend of mine to photograph an intimate milestone in her life.
Antoinette had just been diagnosed with breast cancer and wanted to document this time in her life. She asked if I would come to her home and photograph her and her family as she prepared for Chemotherapy appointments.
I don’t have many words to say about the strength this woman and her family has, so I will let the photos do the talking.
It is clear that Antoinette and her family have such a strong, intimate bond and that they will persevere together.
